At Drysdale Osteopathy we offer two types of specific exercise classes:

Pre and postnatal functional exercise classes for women

Pre natal/pregnancy classes: These classes prepare women for their pregnancy journey, delivery and after birth. Classes will include a warm up, functional based exercise program and pregnancy focused core muscle activation, stretching and relaxation techniques. Women must be in their second trimester to join these classes and clearance from a treating practitioner will be required to commence.

Post natal classes: These classes focus on recovery after delivery of the baby, assisting with strengthening core muscles and utilising good postures and techniques to care for babies and mums. Classes will include a warm up, functional based exercise program and pregnancy focused core muscle activation. Women can join this class after medical clearance from their healthcare provider.

Classes: Maximum of 5 participants
1 hour duration
Cost: 5 weeks $100 or 10 weeks $200 or casual attendance $25

Functional strength training

Functional strength training is designed to help you increase your strength through movement based activities that help to keep your joints mobile and help you move better in day to day living.

HOW DO CLASSES RUN?

We now offer Functional Exercise Classes at Drysdale Osteopathy with a maximum of four people per class to ensure you are provided with individual supervised support and guidance.

Classes: Maximum of 4 participants
30 minutes duration
Cost: $15 per class if booked in 5 or 10 (eg $75 or $150) OR $20 casual attendance
Class times: (Wednesday evenings and) Friday mornings
